Weekly Wrapped

What it is

Weekly Wrapped is an Instagram-style recap that betterpal generates from the previous week's activity. It's a short stack of cards you swipe through in under a minute: the people you added, the notes you captured, how your network grew, and what's coming up next week.

What's in the wrap

Each wrap is a handful of cards, in order:

Why a weekly cadence

Most relationship-keeping comes down to noticing things like "I haven't seen Priya in a while" or "Sam has a new job, I should follow up." Big calendar events handle themselves. A weekly recap is a low-friction nudge in that smaller direction, without becoming a calendar of obligations.

How to enable or disable it

  1. Open the Settings tab.
  2. Find the Weekly Wrapped toggle.
  3. Switch it on. The wrap-up will appear at the start of each new week.

If you decide it's noise, switch it off. Nothing about your data depends on it.

What you can do with it

A quick reframe

Weekly Wrapped is not a productivity scoreboard. The point is to give your week a small "what just happened with my people" moment, not to add as many people as possible. Some weeks will be empty. That's fine.

Common questions

Is the data shared anywhere?

No. The recap is generated locally from data already on your iPhone. Nothing leaves the device unless you choose to share a screenshot.

What if I had a quiet week?

The recap will still appear, but with fewer cards. Sometimes it just shows upcoming birthdays.

Can I see past wraps?

The current wrap is the focus. If you want a longer history, the per-person note timeline is the right place to look.

Next up

Wraps work best when they have something to surface. The first habit to lock in is the daily one: writing people down as you meet them.
